Todd Harris
With over 30 years of experience in workforce housing and remote accommodations, Todd Harris has built a career dedicated to delivering comprehensive lodging and support services for industries operating in the most demanding environments. His expertise spans oil & gas, construction, mining, and disaster relief, making him a trusted leader in the field of workforce accommodations.
Todd’s journey in the industry began in 1993 in Alaska, where he played a critical role in managing accommodations for major energy projects with British Petroleum (BP), ConocoPhillips, and Shell Oil. As a Project Manager, he oversaw the development and operations of facilities supporting BP North Star Island, BP Badami, and ConocoPhillips Alpine Oil Field. His mining industry experience includes accommodations management for notable sites such as POGO Gold Mine, Red Dog Mine, and Kensington Gold Mine in Juneau, operated by Coeur Mining Corporation.
His expertise in remote workforce accommodations has taken him across North America, supporting operations in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR), Prudhoe Bay, and the North Slope of Alaska, as well as in the Bakken Oilfield in North Dakota, the Green River Formation in Colorado, the Western Slope of Colorado, the Permian Basin in Texas, and the Marcellus Shale Play in West Virginia.
In 2009, Todd founded his own company and partnered with Ameritech Builders of Center, Texas, to develop six workforce housing facilities in North Dakota and West Texas. Managing over 4,000 beds, these projects laid the foundation for his vision of a fully integrated, turnkey workforce housing solution. His concept encompassed land acquisition, engineering and site development, facility installation, and full-service camp operations.
In 2016, Todd took on the role of Chief Operating Officer for the K3 Group in San Antonio, Texas. During his tenure, he expanded the company’s operations in the Permian Basin, Oklahoma, and Alaska, serving both the oil & gas and mining industries. His leadership was also instrumental in K3’s participation in hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico, where the company provided accommodations for over 700 subcontractors on accommodation barges mobilized from the Gulf Region to Yabucoa, Puerto Rico.
Now, as the President of Mammoth Industries, Todd Harris continues to lead the industry with his commitment to providing fully integrated, turnkey workforce accommodations.
